Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 August 2026
These terms govern your use of Homefold, operated by Homefold LLC, an Indiana limited liability company. By using Homefold you agree to them.
Homefold is in development
Homefold is pre-release software. Features will change, and some will be removed. We will not knowingly destroy data you have entered, but you should not yet rely on Homefold as your only record of anything important.
Your account
You must be at least 13 years old to have a Homefold account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to the email address it uses.
Homefold is offered in the United States. We do not offer it in the European Union or the United Kingdom.
Your household
A household has one or more owners, who can add and remove members and manage subscription settings. Adding someone to your household gives them access to that household's content, subject to the visibility settings on each item. Only add people you intend to share with.
Children are represented by profiles that an adult creates and manages, and cannot have an account. If you set up an account for a teenager, you confirm they are at least 13 years old.
You are responsible for what you record about the people in your household. Adding someone's name to a chore or an appointment puts information about them into Homefold whether or not they have an account.
Your content
Everything your household puts into Homefold belongs to you. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your content, show it to members of your household according to your visibility settings, and process it to provide the features you use.
We do not sell your content, use it to advertise to you, or use it to train artificial intelligence models. You can ask us for a copy of your household's data at any time and we will send it to you.
Connected accounts
If you connect a Google, Apple, or Microsoft account, you authorise Homefold to access it as described at the point of connection and in ourPrivacy Policy. Calendar access is read only. You can disconnect at any time, which stops all further access.
Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for them, and a change on their side may affect what Homefold can do.
Acceptable use
Do not use Homefold to:
- Break the law or infringe anyone's rights
- Store or share unlawful or abusive content
- Access a household, account, or data you have not been given access to
- Interfere with the service or circumvent its limits
- Extract data at scale by automated means
Availability
We aim to keep Homefold available and working, but we do not guarantee it. Homefold is provided as is, without warranties. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it. If we discontinue the service, we will give you notice and a chance to export your data.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from relying on Homefold as your only record of an appointment, task, or other information.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending your use
You can stop using Homefold at any time. To have your household's data erased, email us and we will do it by hand, as described in our Privacy Policy. There is no self-service option yet. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you before it takes effect.
